Framing

Bespoke Framing for Every Style

Our bespoke framing service is exactly that—custom-made to your needs. We understand that no two artworks or items are the same, so we take time to discuss your vision and recommend the best materials and techniques. From traditional wooden frames to sleek modern mouldings, we offer a wide selection of options to match your taste and the character of your piece.

Hand-Painted & Custom Finishes

Looking for something truly unique? We also offer hand-painted frames—finished in your chosen colour, tone, or texture. These are ideal for artwork that needs a subtle accent or a bold statement piece. Whether you prefer rustic, distressed, or a clean contemporary look, our hand-painted finishes provide an extra level of customisation that mass-produced frames simply can’t match.

Mounting & Conservation

Mounting is just as important as the frame itself. We offer professional mounting in a range of styles and colours, using acid-free, conservation-grade materials to protect your artwork over time. Whether it's a delicate watercolour, a print, or a family photograph, we’ll make sure it’s beautifully and safely presented.

Glass Cutting & Options

We provide custom glass cutting for all sizes, including standard, non-reflective, and UV-protective glazing. Glass can make all the difference in how your framed piece looks and lasts—especially in light-filled spaces. Our in-house glass cutting service ensures a precise fit for any size or shape.

Specialist Framing Services

We don't just frame pictures. Our workshop also specialises in:

  • Tapestry & textile framing – Carefully mounted and framed to prevent sagging, fading, or damage over time.

  • Sports memorabilia framing – From signed shirts to match tickets and medals, we create dynamic displays that preserve the story and spirit of your sporting memories.

  • Objects & keepsakes – We can also frame 3D items or collections, turning treasured objects into framed works of art.

Every piece brought to Chapman Arts is treated with the utmost care and respect. Our customers come from across Ceredigion and beyond, and we’re proud to offer a service that combines technical skill with a friendly, artistic approach.
